Offering Assistance

Why become an assistant?

Becoming part of a pool of assistants in Gloucestershire opens up opportunities to work with different people. You might find one person you’d like to work with to fit around your current commitments or you might decide to work for two or three different people. Glos Assistants gives you the opportunity to build your working hours the way you want to.

Being an assistant can be a very varied role, from doing the dishes to accompanying an individual or a family on a day out. You could just be an extra pair of hands to help make things easier or you could work on a more personal basis with an individual. Whatever the task, you’ll be working with people in their daily environment and making a difference to their life.

Being an assistant is unlike any other job. You get to build natural connections with the people you work for through working together and giving people the support that makes a real difference to their lives, however big or small. It gives you a unique opportunity to build strong and lasting relationships with the families and individuals you work for.
