Glos Assistants aims to help connect people of any age with care and support needs who are looking for assistants with people who are (or want to be) an assistant. Click on the tabs below to find out how our website can help you today.
If you are looking for an assistant
Whether you have care and support needs yourself or are looking on behalf of someone who needs assistance, our site can help you find the support that suits you and your lifestyle. You can submit an advert describing what you need assistance with, browse profiles of available assistants, contact those you’re interested in and arrange the support you need with the assistant(s) you choose.
If you want to be an assistant
Being an assistant can be a very varied job, offering flexible hours and rewarding work. When you register with us you can write a profile telling people a bit about yourself and the kind of work you’re looking for. You can then browse adverts, contact people to discuss roles further and start making arrangements with people you choose to work for.

Will assistants be paid or voluntary?
An assistant can be employed on a paid or voluntary basis. Please check the A-Z Guidance section of this website for more information on paid and voluntary roles.
